Deborah McDowell presented at the National Women’s Studies Association (NWSA) in Baltimore and at the Modernist Studies Association (MSA) in New York in October. She also led a discussion on the documentary film, Murders that Matter with filmmakers Louis Massiah and Marco Williams at the Scribe Video Center in Philadelphia.
